BlueBub Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and KheniTech ("we", "us") governing your use of the BlueBub app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

BlueBub shows estimated weather forecasts along a travel route at your projected time of arrival, together with suggested routes and hazard indicators. It is provided for general informational and planning purposes only.

2. No account required

BlueBub does not require you to create an account or sign in. You are responsible for using the app in accordance with these Terms. The app is intended for users aged 13 and older.

The app is free to use and contains no adverts and no in-app purchases. We do advertise BlueBub on other platforms, and the app measures which of those adverts lead to installs — see section 5 and our Privacy Policy.

3. Weather and routing disclaimer

Weather forecasts, routes, arrival times, and hazard indicators are estimates generated from third-party data (including OpenStreetMap/OSRM and Open-Meteo) and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. They are not a substitute for official weather warnings, real-time road conditions, or your own judgment. Do not rely on the app for safety-critical or navigational decisions. Always obey traffic laws, road signs, and local authorities, and do not interact with the app while driving.

4. Acceptable use

• Use the app only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its services.
• Do not misuse or overload the routing, geocoding, or weather services accessed through the app.
• Comply with the terms of any third-party services used by the app (see below).

5. Third-party data and services

The app relies on Google Firebase, Mapbox, OpenStreetMap/OSRM, Nominatim, and Open-Meteo. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and © Mapbox. Your use of the app is also subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

The app also includes Meta's (Facebook's) measurement SDK, used only to attribute app installs to adverts we run. It receives an advertising identifier and install / app-open events; it does not receive your location, routes, or weather data. On iOS you are asked for permission first and may decline; on Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings. The app works identically either way. Your use of this feature is also subject to Meta's privacy policy.

The app also uses Firebase Crashlytics to report crashes and errors so we can fix them, and Google Analytics for Firebase to record which features are used (for example that a route was planned or navigation started). Crash reports include your device model, OS version and app version. Neither contains your location, your route, your destination or your weather results; neither is linked to your identity, and neither is used for advertising.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its content (excluding third-party data) are owned by KheniTech. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.

7. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KheniTech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including reliance on any forecast, route, arrival time, or hazard indicator.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where your local consumer-protection laws require otherwise.

12. Apple App Store — additional terms

The following applies when you obtain the app from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are between you and KheniTech only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app.
• Apple is not responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your use of it, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer-protection or similar legislation.
• Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right (and are deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you.

13. Google Play

When you obtain the app from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app.
